Features and uses:
The
Thuya occidentalis Golden Tuffet is a dwarf conifera belonging to the cupressaceae family and is native to America.
A
multicolored dwarf cone, great for relaxing the winter days, with its small, pointed foliage, brilliant green in the middle,
yellow gold in the outside, with
bronze-colored shades especially in winter.
Its small dimensions make it
great for pottery to be placed on balconies and terraces, or on the ground as the edge of a walk or as a small hedge.
It adapts well to gardens with different styles, such as rocky or alpine, modern and classical, and also because of its
poor maintenance need is also good for urban greenery.
It is also interesting to insert the
Thuya occ. Golden Tuffet in a
mixed meadow to create a charming
landscape with alternating shapes and colors, using for example the varieties of:
Chamaecyparis l. Lycopodioides,
Chamaecyparis l. Snow White,
Juniperus h. Wiltonii,
Juniperus b. Blue Star,
Taxus b. Repandens,
Thuya Smaragd
