Features and uses:
The
Chamaecyparis laws. Lycopodioides, belongs to the cupressaceae family and is a selection of Lawson cypress obtained in 1890 in the Netherlands.
This dwarf conifera looks like a
small bush made of filaments and twisted branches of
greenish gray color.
The attitude of the Chamaecyparis laws. Lycopodioides is erect and corrugated, its height in time can reach 1.50 mt if planted on the ground, while if kept in pots, it will be much smaller.
This
dwarf conifera prefers to be cultivated in a
slightly acidic and moist soil, but without water stagnation. It likes very
sunny locations and despite being a strong conifer, it prefers to be
sheltered by the wind.
No need for pruning or
special care, this will help those who do not have time to devote to the garden.
Great in
