The
Juniperus conferred Schlager is a dwarf conifer that belongs to the family of cupressaceae that originates in the Middle East
It is a
juniper, and like all its kind is an evergreen shrub, it is presented with a
covering up and is
also called groundcover and its slightly pointed leaf is of
silvery green color, while the glaucous blue tips. Its growth is very slow and small, which makes it
great for small gardens as well. It produces small black berries.
Juniperus Schlager is a very convenient
conifer from the point of view of maintenance, since it does not require pruning, is
very resistant to drought and cold, adapts to
poor soil and is
not subject to illness. Better if positioned
in full sun or half shade.
Thanks to its creeping behavior prevents the growth of weeds.
This ornamental shrub is perfect for use as a single plant, or for creating flowerbeds with color and shapes, perhaps associated with
Juniperus Blue Alps,
Chamaecyparis Filifera Aurea,
Vilmorinian Cryptoemeria,
Thuya Smaragd or other dwarf conifers, according to their personal taste.
