The Nandina domestica Blush Pink is native to central Asia and belongs to the berberidaceae family. It is considered to be an enhancement to the Fire Power variety.
It is an evergreen shrub, with its abundant, thick and multicolored foliage, which develops on thin bushes. The new rounded leaves appear on the shades of rose, then turn into bright green, then in autumn and throughout the winter, thanks to the decreasing temperatures become red.
It is a very compact bush and slow growth, which usually does not exceed 60 cm. Perfect for pottery cultivation dedicated to the decor of balconies and terraces, but also great for making bordures or mixed flower beds. Thanks to its winter colors, it will be the protagonist of the garden, creating wonderful color gaming. Never seen snow covered? White candy and red fire, a guaranteed success.
The Nandina Dom. Blush Pink prefers a semi-shaded position, but is able to tolerate even the full sun. Better if properly irrigated, especially if grown in pots. It does not require special care and pruning is not necessary, it is not dirty and is unlikely to get sick.
