The Elaeagnus ebbingei Limelight belonging to the family of eleagneaceae, and is a shrub that originates in Asia.

This bush has an erect and enlarged bearing, densely branched with sporadic small spines that usually do not cause any discomfort either to humans or to animals.
It distinguishes itself from other varieties for the lanceolate foliage, of variegated color, dark green on the edge and yellow in the center. While the lower page is silver green. It produces small white flowers, not very visible, which open in autumn and which give a sweet and delicate scent.

Easy to grow, it adapts to any soil, it tolerates saltiness very well, it adapts in low water conditions and regular pruning is not essential, so it is an interesting essence for those who do not have time to dedicate to the garden.
