Features and uses:
Chamaecyparis pisifera Filifera nana originates in Japan, and is a dwarf conifera belonging to the family of cupressaceae.
Its branches reflect the characteristics of conifers belonging to the "filifera" group, that is, they are thin just like a thread, tending to fall down. On these branches develop the thin leaves, which form a dense, light and bright green vegetation.
The chamaecyparis p. Nana filifera has a rounded, very slow growth, preferring positions in full sun or shade, and damp, slightly drained and slightly acidic soil.
This dwarf conifera is also great in small gardens, or in planters, ideal for creating delicious green corners. While in a large park it can be flanked by tall shrubs or other dwarf conifers to give birth to colorful flowerbeds, evergreens and simple maintenance.
